Volleyball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Floyd Central Highlanders. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Floyd Central found their leader in sophomore Autumn Engle, who had seven digs and four assists.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Floyd Central, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Jasper has already played their next contest (against Evansville Mater Dei), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Floyd Central, they will take on Columbus North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
