Softball Recap: Miller Falcons vs. Bishop Rosecrans Bishops
Miller proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 29) but on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops out 5-3. That's more bragging rights for Miller, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Shelby Stover was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Miller's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Bishop Rosecrans, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
Miller will take on Grove City Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will head out on the road to face off against Beallsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Rosecrans is facing Beallsville at the right time seeing as Beallsville is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
