Floyd came up big in Pinnacle Classical Academy's 19-13 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Eva Floyd stepped things up a notch to give Pinnacle Classical Academy the 'W'. Floyd did her part (and then some), scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances for the 'W'.
Floyd's strong effort led Pinnacle Classical Academy over Lake Lure Classical Academy and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
