East Carteret has gone 9-1 against Lejeune recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mariners will face off against the Devilpups at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

East Carteret took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Jones as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was East Carteret's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Lejeune made easy work of Southside on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Devilpups haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lejeune not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Southside between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

Lejeune now has a winning record of 9-8. As for East Carteret, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
