Erie takes loss despite strong efforts from Alexandria Ridenour and Juliet Slater

Recap: Erie Tigers vs. Ralston Valley Mustangs
The Erie Tigers lost against the Ralston Valley Mustangs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Erie took a 38-23 bruising from Ralston Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Erie has scored all season.
Erie's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Juliet Slater, who scored seven points along with three steals, and Alexandria Ridenour who scored six points.
Erie's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Ralston Valley, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.
Erie will face off against Rocky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rocky Mountain focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday. Ralston Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chatfield at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Chatfield is ranked 39th, while Ralston Valley is ranked 34th).
