Volleyball Game Preview: Covington Buccs vs. Riverside Pirates

The Covington Buccs will head out on the road to take on the Riverside Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Covington has five straight victories, Riverside has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Covington made easy work of Bradford and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Riverside lost 3-0 to Benjamin Logan on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-13.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Covington, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

Covington took their win against Riverside in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
