Basketball Recap: Jamaica Comes Up Short

Jamaica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 72-53 to the Beach Channel Dolphins. That's two games in a row now that the Beavers have lost by exactly 19 points.

Jamaica's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Beach Channel, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamaica will face off against John Adams at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Beach Channel, they will take on Hillcrest at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hillcrest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
