Basketball Recap: Katie Mixon Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Twiggs Academy

After losing to Twiggs Academy the last time they met, Covenant Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Covenant Academy Rams took down the Twiggs Academy Trojans 41-24 on Friday.

Covenant Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katie Mixon, who went 6 of 15 to rack up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Danielle Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.
