Cleveland Central Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Aquinas Knights on Wednesday, falling 14-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Aquinas' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Cleveland Central Catholic will welcome Cuyahoga Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aquinas, they will venture away from home to square off against Leetonia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
