Soccer Recap: Kingfisher Comes Up Short

Kingfisher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-4 to the ASTEC Charter Comets.

Kingfisher's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for ASTEC Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Kingfisher will venture away from home to take on McLoud at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kingfisher are facing McLoud at the right time seeing as McLoud are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for ASTEC Charter, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Harding Fine Arts at 7:00 p.m. ASTEC Charter will be up against Harding Fine Arts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
