Torrey Pines had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the San Juan Hills Stallions on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on 21 straight.

Torrey Pines never let San Juan Hills on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-6.

Torrey Pines can attribute much of their success to Lila Green, who had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Green has posted since back in September.

Torrey Pines' win bumped their record up to 38-4. As for San Juan Hills, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7.

Coming up, Torrey Pines will head out to take on Mater Dei at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. San Juan Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
