Soccer Recap: Corning-Painted Post Takes a Loss

After flying high against Horseheads on Thursday, Corning-Painted Post came back down to earth. The Hawks fell just short of the Ithaca Little Red by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Corning-Painted Post haven't had much luck with Ithaca recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Corning-Painted Post's goal came courtesy of Charlie Warner, who's now up to four this season.

Corning-Painted Post's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ithaca, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Corning-Painted Post has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Elmira on the 16th. Ithaca has also already played their next game (against Horseheads), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
