Volleyball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Takes a Loss

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe lost against Dalton back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catamounts.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14.

Ajla Rizvic paced Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's offense, picking up five kills. Rizvic really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-27 record this season. As for Dalton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-10.

Looking ahead, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will challenge Rockmart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
