Palmyra-Macedon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Waterloo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palmyra-Macedon has three straight victories, Waterloo has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Palmyra-Macedon came out on top against Greece Arcadia on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Red Raiders blew past the Titans 12-2. Considering the Red Raiders have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Trey Porpora made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Porpora was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

In other batting news, Brady Leo was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Jordan Goff also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Waterloo fell victim to East and their airtight pitching crew last Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0.

Palmyra-Macedon's record is now 4-1. As for Waterloo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Palmyra-Macedon skirted past Waterloo 3-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
