Volleyball Game Preview: Montezuma-Cortez Panthers vs. North Fork Miners + How To Watch

The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers will head out on the road to take on the North Fork Miners at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montezuma-Cortez is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Montezuma-Cortez didn't have quite enough to beat Grand County and fell 3-2.

Montezuma-Cortez actually scored more points across those five sets (105-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 21-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, North Fork hadn't done well against Meeker recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Miners put the hurt on the Cowboys with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Miners not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

While North Fork won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-23.

North Fork's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Montezuma-Cortez, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
