After a string of three wins, Oak Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Willis Wildkats, falling 72-50. The War Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 76-65 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Willis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Oak Ridge will welcome Caney Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Willis, they will venture away from home to face off against Grand Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Willis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Grand Oaks likes a good challenge.
