Texas Wind had won three straight games and Jai Johnson did her part to make it four on Friday. Texas Wind simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mercy School Institute Mustangs 37-7 for which the team can thank Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Texas Wind's points.

Texas Wind's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Mercy School Institute, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Texas Wind has already played their next matchup, a 39-36 loss against Westlake Academy on the 6th. As for Mercy School Institute, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 27-25 win against Christian Home Educators on the 6th.
