Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Wins Going Away Against Forest Lake Christian

Faith Christian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Forest Lake Christian Falcons 3-0. The Lions were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

While Faith Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Forest Lake Christian scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-22.

Faith Christian can attribute much of their success to Hannah Hessong, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Hessong has posted since back in October of 2024.

Hessong wasn't the only good server: Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. They served nine more aces than Forest Lake Christian's also-impressive total of 11.

Faith Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Forest Lake Christian, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Faith Christian and Paradise Adventist Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest Lake Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Woodland Christian on the 28th.
