Forest Lake Christian came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Faith Christian, but Hannah Hessong wouldn't allow it. The Lions blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Hessong, who had six digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

While Faith Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Forest Lake Christian scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-22.

Faith Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Forest Lake Christian, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Faith Christian and Paradise Adventist Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest Lake Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Woodland Christian on the 28th.
