Volleyball Recap: Sotomayor Takes a Loss

Sotomayor suffered their biggest loss since August 12th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the O'Connor Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the WILDCATS in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-16.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for O'Connor, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Sotomayor has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Johnson on the 28th. As for O'Connor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pearland on the 28th.
