Basketball Recap: Seckinger Comes Up Short

Seckinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 55-46 to the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs.

Kennesaw Mountain's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justin Mallett, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Mallett is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Delbert Green was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Seckinger will be playing at home against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they will venture away from home to challenge Hillgrove at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
