Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NorthWood). They blew past the Mishawaka Cavemen, posting a 76-34 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Cavemen are ranked 284th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for NorthWood, bringing their record for this year to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Mishawaka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NorthWood will challenge Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mishawaka, they will face off against South Bend Adams at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
