Soccer Recap: Borger Takes a Loss

In Friday's Canine Competition, Borger didn't have enough. They fell just short of the West Plains Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Ivan Reyes, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Borger and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for West Plains, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Borger wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Randall on the 17th. As for West Plains, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Pampa on the 18th.
