Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Glasgow Yellowjackets, falling 16-1. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Glasgow, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Madison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Pilot Grove on the 3rd. As for Glasgow, they will face off against Brookfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
