Unity Christian posted their closest victory since August 24, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Trion Bulldogs 2-1. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Claira Kight paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kight got some help from Ella Claire Goodwin and her 24 assists. Ann Claire Whitley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Unity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Trion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Unity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Model on the 21st. As for Trion, they will take on Pepperell in a tournament on Saturday.
