Volleyball Recap: Pickford Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pickford took on Johannesburg-Lewiston on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Panthers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pickford's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-4-2.

Coming up, Pickford will be playing in front of their home fans against Brimley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Ignace on the 27th.
