Softball Recap: Portage Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Portage has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.46 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Edgewood Crusaders. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Portage's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7. As for Edgewood, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Portage will take on Lodi at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
