Cathedral won the last time they faced Del Valle and things went their way on Friday too. The Fighting Irish came out on top against the Conquistadores by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Irish.

Julian Eacalante was incredible, firing off five RBI, three doubles, and one triple while going 4-for-4. Leonardo Fonseca was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Del Valle, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Cathedral will head out on the road to square off against Parkland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Del Valle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rose of Sharon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
