Volleyball Recap: Hammond Gets the Win

While Hammond didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Thibodaux Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hammond's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Thibodaux, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Coming up, Hammond will take on University Lab at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thibodaux, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against De La Salle on the 20th.
