Volleyball Recap: Neumann Wins Going Away Against Golden Gate

Neumann won the last time they faced Golden Gate and things went their way on Thursday too. The Celtics were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Celtics.

Nikki Reinert was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and four digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Reinert wasn't the only good servers: Neumann was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

Neumann's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Golden Gate, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Neumann will be playing in front of their home fans against Evangelical Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Golden Gate, they will venture away from home to face off against Naples at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
