Bristol-Plymouth RVT had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Kyle Weldon sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Weldon as he struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Weldon and Bristol-Plymouth RVT will be playing in front of their home fans against Blue Hills RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Craftsmen are 8-2 against the Warriors going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
