Van Meter is a perfect 10-0 against Interstate 35 since June of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Roadrunners at 5:00 p.m. Van Meter's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Interstate 35's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Van Meter never let Ogden get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Surprisingly, this marked Van Meter's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Interstate 35 unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 8-5 to Woodward-Granger. The game snapped a strange streak: the last six times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Van Meter's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Interstate 35, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.

Van Meter came out on top in a nail-biter against Interstate 35 when the teams last played on June 4th, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
