Basketball Recap: Laquey Takes a Loss

Laquey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Stoutland Tigers, falling 75-49. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Laquey's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Stoutland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Laquey will square off against Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stoutland, they will head out to take on Newburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Stoutland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
