Volleyball Recap: West Franklin Comes Up Short

West Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Valley Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

Greelie McMahan paced West Franklin's offense, picking up four kills. McMahan also shared the team's lead in assists with Teegan McArthur: they picked up six each.

West Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Mission Valley, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-14.

West Franklin has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Osage City on the 14th. As for Mission Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Bishop Ward on the 14th.
