Basketball Recap: Ringwood Takes a Loss

Ringwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 48-25 to the Burlington Elks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-34 on January 7th.

Ringwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Burlington, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringwood will host Deer Creek-Lamont at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Creek-Lamont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Ringwood likes a good challenge. Burlington has already played their next game (against Kremlin-Hillsdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
