Eagle Pass came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Del Rio Rams get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-3 back in March.

Sofia Torres looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Karina Gomez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Torralba, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Eagle Pass always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Rio only posted an OBP of .286.

Eagle Pass pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Del Rio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-21.

Eagle Pass has already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Medina Valley on the 17th. Del Rio does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
