Gehlen Catholic won against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Jays were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the St. Edmond Gaels. The Jays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Gehlen Catholic and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for St. Edmond, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Gehlen Catholic has already played their next match, a 6-4 loss against Bishop Garrigan on the 7th. As for St. Edmond, they will face off against Clear Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
