Volleyball Recap: Marlborough Takes a Loss

If Marlborough was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Flintridge Sacred Heart on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisville Royals on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-21, 25-20.

Marlborough's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Louisville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Marlborough will host La Canada at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Louisville, they will head out to challenge Immaculate Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
