Game recap: Cascade Christian High School Football Team defeats Charles Wright

PUYALLUP, Wash. - Cascade Christian (Puyallup, Wash.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat Charles Wright (Tacoma, Wash.), 48-14, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Jaelin Goldsmith in the first quarter, the Cougars were up 21-7 at the half.

Cascade Christian grew its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Goldsmith to Mason Tobeck.

With the win the Puyallup school extended its winning streak to nine games.



The Cougars went into the matchup giving up only 12.5 points per game. Charles Wright's 14 points were well below their season average of 22.9 per game.

The loss ended Charles Wright's three-game winning streak.
