Basketball Recap: Edison Piles Up the Points Against Hillcrest

There's no place like home for Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They claimed a resounding 77-41 victory over the Hillcrest Hawks. Edison has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 29 points or more this season.

Edison pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.4 points. As for Hillcrest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Edison and Hillcrest will both be playing Epic South the next time they take the court. Edison will host Epic South at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hillcrest will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
