Paynesville won the last time they faced Osakis and things went their way  on Monday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Silverstreaks with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bulldogs.
 The  win didn't come easy: Osakis scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20,  25-22.
 Ava Martinson paced Paynesville's offense, picking up eight kills. Martinson got some help from  Kylin Scaefer and her 15 assists.  McKenna Barton controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Paynesville's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Osakis,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-5.
 Looking ahead, Paynesville will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Royalton  at 5:30  p.m. Osakis has  already played their next  matchup (against Eden Valley-Watkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
