Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Cobb). They secured a 77-73 W over the Hillgrove Hawks on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

South Cobb got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Donald McMillan out in front who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. McMillan's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Emery Mccurdy also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Hillgrove lost, don't look at Cowyn Glass. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 10 to rack up 15 points along with seven assists and three steals. Those 15 points gave Glass a new career-high. Greg Dean was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight boards.

South Cobb's record now sits at 15-9. As for Hillgrove, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

South Cobb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-61 defeat against Pebblebrook on the 7th. As for Hillgrove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-71 loss against Campbell on the 7th.
