Basketball Game Preview: Mansfield Legacy Broncos vs. Lake Ridge Eagles

The Mansfield Legacy Broncos are taking a road trip to square off against the Lake Ridge Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Mansfield Legacy came up short against Crowley on Saturday, falling 84-61. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Eagles are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, Lake Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Kangaroos.

Lake Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season. As for Mansfield Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Mansfield Legacy came up short against Lake Ridge in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 81-69. Can Mansfield Legacy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
