Basketball Recap: Palmdale Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Palmdale duked it out withKnight on Friday. The Palmdale Falcons were dealt an 82-37 loss at the hands of the Knight Hawks. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured 11 defeats in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Palmdale lost, don't look at Latee Moore. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominique Helm, who put up six points.

Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Knight, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Palmdale will take on Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Palmdale is facing Antelope Valley at the right time seeing as Antelope Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Knight, they will face off against Quartz Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Quartz Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.7 points per game this season.
