Football Recap: West Point Piles Up the Points Against Callaway

While West Point put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Callaway. The Green Wave blew past the Chargers, posting a 42-0 win. The matchup marked the Green Wave's most dominant victory of the season so far.

West Point can attribute much of their success to Kingston Branham, who threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

The win keeps West Point at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.8 points this season. As for Callaway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

West Point and Callaway will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Green Wave are set to challenge their familiar foe Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Callaway will face off against rival Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
