After losing to McMinnville the last time they met, Glencoe decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crimson Tide came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Glencoe's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while McMinnville are ranked sixth).

The win made it two in a row for Glencoe and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for McMinnville, they moved to 5-2-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
