Clayton had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hazelwood East Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clayton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 25-11, 25-15.

Claire Booth paced Clayton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Booth got some help from Charlotte Oliver and her 35 assists. Bela Infante controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Clayton's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Hazelwood East, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Clayton has already played their next contest (against Orchard Farm), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hazelwood East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against McCluer North on the 1st.
