Basketball Recap: Chariton's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chariton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over the Wayne Falcons. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Chariton's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Wayne, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Chariton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-52 victory against Davis County on the 7th. As for Wayne, they will head out on the road to take on Melcher-Dallas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
