After a string of three wins, Breckinridge County's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a hard 72-57 fall against the McLean County Cougars. The Fighting Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 56-55 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Breckinridge County's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3. As for McLean County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Breckinridge County will head out to challenge Daviess County at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for McLean County, they will venture away from home to square off against Frederick Fraize at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frederick Fraize has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while McLean County will come in with four straight wins.
