Soccer Recap: South Hills Falls Short of Grapevine in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Hills can now relate to. They came up short against the Grapevine Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 7-0. South Hills were not able to make up for their loss to Grapevine from their previous meeting back in April of 2018.

South Hills' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9-2. As for Grapevine, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10-4 record this season.

South Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grapevine, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Monterey on the 28th.
